The South Asian Legal Educator will provide the South Asian Community with legal education, information and advocacy as it relates to violence against women and children. The focus of the legal education will be to increase clients' awareness of their legal rights as it pertains to family law. Where appropriate the Legal Educator will provide assistance in overlapping areas of immigration law and poverty law (e.g. Income assistance, housing, employment insurance and CPP).
